Manufacturer-rated pet immunity up to 85 lb requires the specified placement and configuration. Pets' size and movement, furniture and stairs still matter.

- Separate from your equipment order. A monitoring preference does not activate service or start a subscription at checkout. Major will confirm the setup and billing arrangements with you.
Equipment-only buyers are welcome and have access to our free installation guides. Programming and personal technical support require Major monitoring.

Is the package price for everything pictured?
Yes. Each package price includes its listed panel and devices. You can add individual compatible devices alongside your package. Optional monitoring is separate, and applicable taxes appear at checkout. The pictures show the actual product models; device photos are not to scale.
What makes this professional-grade equipment?
Your system uses the Qolsys IQ Panel 5 and PowerG wireless intrusion sensors: equipment designed for professional alarm systems. PowerG provides encrypted wireless communication, long range and two-way supervision. Major helps monitored customers choose placement, prepare their sensors and test the system during setup.
Can I install it myself—and what if I need help?
These packages are designed for DIY installation. Mounting tape, a panel stand, a standard wall mount, labeled devices and a quickstart guide are included for monitored systems. Follow the product instructions and placement guides. An on-site installer is not included.
If you get stuck, call Major to discuss the options: phone assistance, help finding a local subcontractor, or arranging a return when appropriate. Setup support is available Monday–Friday, 9 a.m.–4 p.m. Eastern. Emergency and central station support are available 24/7 for monitoring customers.
How do shipping and returns work?
Shipping is free. Orders ship within seven calendar days of purchase and arrive within 14 calendar days of purchase.
You have 60 days from the original shipment date to return undamaged equipment, including opened items. There is no restocking fee; the customer pays return shipping. Contact Major for return authorization before sending equipment back.
Does the indoor camera need a monthly service?
Yes. The Alarm.com ADC-V516 needs home Wi-Fi, broadband internet, plug-in power and an activated Alarm.com video plan. Standard Major monitoring includes Pro Video for up to four compatible cameras with motion/event clips. Higher plans are available on request; continuous recording is not included in the standard plan. Purchasing the camera does not activate video service.
Is monitoring required? Is there a long-term contract?
You can buy equipment without Major monitoring. The $35 monthly monitoring option has no long-term contract commitment. The annual option is $360 prepaid for 12 months. Account setup, testing and confirmed activation are required before monitoring or Alarm.com service starts.
Can I change the equipment or use a panel I already own?
You can add compatible devices to either package. For a different combination, use our system builder. Already own a panel? Ask us to check the exact model and account restrictions before buying replacements or cancelling your existing service.
