Can I change the suggested quantities?
Yes. The recommendations are a starting point. Review the selected doors, windows and interior areas, then adjust the equipment before adding it to your cart.
What if I already have an alarm panel?
Start with the existing-system option and check the panel’s exact model. You may only need additional compatible devices. Ask us to check your options before ordering.
Can I include an indoor camera?
Yes. Choose a camera under Extra protection or adjust its quantity in your equipment review. The Alarm.com ADC-V516 uses plug-in power, home Wi-Fi and broadband internet.
Our standard plan is $35 monthly or $360 prepaid annually. Both options include professional alarm monitoring and Alarm.com Pro Video for up to four compatible cameras, with motion- and event-triggered video clips. Each additional compatible camera is $2 per month under either payment option. Higher video plans are available on request. See service details. The equipment total is a hardware purchase; service begins only after confirmed activation.
Does this replace a detailed system design?
The builder helps create a practical equipment list. Room layout, mounting locations, pets and the manufacturer’s instructions still matter. Smoke and CO placement must meet applicable requirements; the questionnaire does not verify complete coverage.
Does buying the equipment activate monitoring?
No. Alarm monitoring and video service begin only after account setup, programming, testing and confirmed activation. Service-area eligibility, compatible equipment, account setup, testing and confirmed activation are required. Compare the $35 monthly and $360 annual standard plan options.
