Check in on an entryway, living room or pet area with the Alarm.com ADC-V516 indoor Wi-Fi camera. View 1080p HDR video and use two-way audio to talk through the camera from a compatible Alarm.com account.
It is a practical addition to your security system when you want to see what is happening inside. The camera connects through your home Wi-Fi; it does not enroll as a PowerG alarm sensor.

Video included with the standard monitoring plan
Our standard plan is $35 monthly or $360 prepaid annually. Both options include professional alarm monitoring and Alarm.com Pro Video for up to four compatible cameras, with motion- and event-triggered video clips. Each additional compatible camera is $2 per month under either payment option. Higher video plans are available on request.
The camera hardware is purchased separately. Active Alarm.com video service, broadband internet and Wi-Fi are required. Buying this camera does not activate an account; we complete setup, testing and activation with you. See monitoring and video-service details.
The standard plan does not include 24/7 continuous recording. The camera supports optional onboard or Stream Video Recorder recording with suitable service and compatible storage hardware purchased separately. Ask about the recording setup you need before buying a microSD card or recorder.
Plan your camera location
Choose an indoor location near a power outlet with a reliable Wi-Fi signal and a useful view of the room. Test the view and connection before mounting. The included power adapter is required; Wi-Fi connectivity does not make this a battery-powered camera.
Position it with household privacy in mind and discuss placement with everyone using the space. Aim it at the area you intend to watch and review your recording and notification settings during setup.

Included with the camera
ADC-V516 camera, a DC power adapter with a 10-foot cable, mounting bracket, mounting screws and anchors, and a link to the online installation guide. A microSD card is not included.
Questions before you buy
Can I use it outside?
No. This camera is designed for indoor use.
Does it use the alarm panel’s cellular connection?
Plan on home Wi-Fi and broadband internet for video. The alarm panel’s cellular monitoring connection is not the camera’s internet connection.
Can it record continuously?
The standard monitoring plan includes motion- and event-triggered clips, not 24/7 continuous recording. This camera supports optional continuous recording with compatible storage hardware and service. Ask us to confirm a suitable plan and setup before purchasing a card or recorder.
Can I buy a complete security package?
Compare Security Starter and Security Expanded, or build your own system. Pro Video for up to four compatible cameras is included with our standard monitoring plan; service starts after confirmed activation.
Is setup help included?
Preprogramming, setup assistance and ongoing technical support are included for Major Home Security monitoring customers, including existing customers adding equipment. Equipment-only purchases do not include those services. Request a free phone consultation before choosing.
